It's been entirely too long since I last blogged a wedding. Admittedly, blog posts and more specifically wedding blog posts are incredibly time consuming things to put together, at least for me, so I tend to procrastinate a bit. I am sure there are some super efficient bloggers out there but unfortunately, I'm not one of them. Adding Rider to the daily mix has been an interesting adjustment...though it has been going fairly well so far. This was Shauna's first week back to work so I have been charting the parenting waters alone and I've found that wearing Rider in a baby wrap has been pretty much the only way that I can get any work done. New parents out there, if you don't own a wrap or carrier of some kind, I can't recommend them enough. They will increase your productivity ten fold.
Anyway, I managed to put together a blog post yesterday afternoon in between feedings. I shot this wedding last month and it is a new personal favorite for many reasons. I had an amazing couple who were an absolute joy to work for and they got married at the same place as Shauna and I. This was the first time I had been back in two years and it was so much fun. This venue is, in my opinion, one of the most gorgeous locations for a wedding in our area...obviously though I am a little biased. ;) I'm lucky enough to get to shoot another wedding there later this year in September.
Also, many of you know that over the past couple years I have been migrating back to shooting more film (yes, the old school stuff) rather than digital...I am doing this for countless reasons that I will explain another day but this post is made up of mostly film images that were all shot on 40+ year old cameras and I am so happy with the look.
Prerna and Kevin, you guys were amazing, I had a total blast documenting your day and hanging out with you and your friends...it was an absolutely gorgeous day. I wish you nothing but the best in your new life together. Enjoy.
