On Sunday I met up with Brian and Steph at Arrowhead Day Camp to shoot their engagement session. When I pulled up to the driveway Steph was waiting for me. I decided to ask her what the story behind the camp was and she told me that it has been in Brian's family for years. His grandfather bought the property and converted it into the day camp. However, she neglected to mention that it was at the day camp that she actually met Brian (small detail :) ) She was a lifeguard at the camp pool and he helped the family run things. Eventually a double date was arranged and everything just kept rolling from there.
So we spent a few hours walking around snapping some shots...I think they got a little more than they bargained for with me...I made them go trudging through the woods and take a canoe out for a quick lap around the lake. Personally, I had a blast...hopefully they did too. Both Brian and Steph have a lot of love for the place and understandably so...obviously because it is where they met but also because the camp itself is super cool with a ridiculous amount of things for kids to do. I can easily see how years of summertime memories could be made there...both for kids and lovebird adults ;)
