I met Jaime and Matt while shooting Christina and Mike's wedding this summer at Paradocx Winery...you can see them in that gallery cutting a serious rug :) and we were so glad to have the pleasure of shooting their wedding this past weekend. The ceremony and reception were both held at the Tyler Arboretum in Media Pa. I had always been aware of this place but never actually stopped in to visit but it is really so beautiful there...especially for a wedding (Brides to be...definitely check it out!). The food was catered by Jeffery Miller Catering and was delicious, Shauna and I were graciously fed, we were so thankful because we hadn't eaten all day and were starving! The ceremony was outdoor, a bit chilly, but personally...I would so much rather deal with the cold than sweating out a whole day in 98 degree July heat, but that could just be personal preference :)
This was the first wedding that Shauna shot with me and I think that she did wonderfully, I can't wait to do another with her, unfortunately our wedding season is about done for the year and we'll be waiting until February to shoot our next. It was really nice for us to be able to spend some extra time together that would normally be spent apart, so that was a definite added bonus. Some of the shots that she took are mixed in throughout the gallery.
I think these pictures really show how much fun Jaime and Matt are, their personalities translate so well in photographs...which is great, it makes our job as photographers that much easier ;) Not to mention they both have these ridiculously infectious and genuine smiles...you'll see below. It was really hard for me to narrow down the images to a reasonable amount to blog, there were soooo many really good photos but if you are interested in seeing the rest I will be posting them in a few weeks on the main website. Thanks again to Jaime and Matt for their last minute booking, we had a ton of fun shooting your wedding and got some images that we are really really proud of. Your love for each other is so blatantly clear and we wish you all the best in your future together! We hope you love these photos as much as we do.
