I got Amanda's email about shooting her wedding back when Shauna and I were in Palm Springs on our honeymoon. I had just shot her sisters wedding earlier that year and I was super excited to have the chance to work with this family again...they are some of the nicest, most down to earth, let's have a good time people that I have ever worked for. I knew this wedding wouldn't disappoint and I've been looking forward to shooting it for the past year and a half. The weather was amazing, 70s with plenty of sun. Holly Hedge Estate was exactly the type of place that I love to shoot, lots of gorgeous acreage and old historic stone buildings, the flowers, dresses and details were all beautiful and the band absolutely killed it but the best thing about the whole day was Amanda and Rob themselves, they were so relaxed and laid back. They just really wanted to soak in the day and enjoy every moment. There was no pressure of timelines or shot lists or any other wedding formalities. It was just such an enjoyable day, I felt more like a guest and less like the photographer.
Amanda and Rob, Thanks so much for everything and for trusting me to tell your story. I had an absolute blast hanging out with you and I wish you nothing but the best in your journey together...and for a couple of Beatles fans I figure there is no better way to close things out than this.
