Well in my typical fashion, I am a month late in getting this post published...despite knowing that the end of the year is coming, I am never totally prepared for the amount of time it takes to really dig through an entire years worth of work and choose a few favorites. Decision making has never been easy for me. :) Though as much of an overwhelming task as putting this post together can be...I really enjoy it. The end of the year is obviously a great time for reflecting on the things you have accomplished and reevaluating the places you would like to go...especially as an artist. 2014 was a really incredible year for us both professionally and personally. We saw some of our closest friends start amazing new chapters in their lives...and Shauna and I started one of our own as new parents. I know I say it a lot...but there isn't a day that goes by that I am not totally blown away by the fact that I am able to do this photo thing for a living. I am so incredibly thankful to those who trust me to document some of the most important moments in their lives. It truly truly means the world to me. Being a photographer has taken me to some pretty amazing places, introduced me to equally amazing people and provided me with time that I am now able to invest back into my family and caring for my son. I love what I do more than I can effectively express and I hope to continue this journey for years to come.
So that's a wrap on 2014...its been a helluva ride! Here's to an awesome 2015 for us all! Can't wait to see what it has in store.
And with that...with no particular rhyme or reason, here's a few of my personal favorites from the last year.
