It's been way too long since I blogged a full wedding and I've been sitting on this one since early September...time to get it out there. I know I just posted a few weeks ago about how I am going to stop writing intros...which is true but I'm making an exception for this post because for one, I'm really pretty proud of it and two, these are some of my closest and best friends who I have known for many years. Brendan and I met in 10th or 11th grade through a mutual group of friends that we were both playing music with and quickly became incredible friends with a shared appreciation for many of the same things. I've known Sarah for probably the better part of her time with Brendan...which if I'm not mistaken has got to be close to ten years...so it felt a little strange to not have some sort of intro. They somehow managed to plan this event in roughly 5 months, which one can only truly appreciate after having gone through the grueling task of actually planning a wedding...but I can tell you that its quite an accomplishment especially with the sheer amount of personalized DIY projects they undertook. They also chose a venue that most people know I am very fond of because it is where Shauna and I got married...and I honestly couldn't think of a better venue for these two either. The place embodies so much about them and the things that they enjoy.
I was truly honored to have the opportunity to document this day for you guys. It goes without saying how much I love and appreciate you both and am so grateful for your friendship. I won't even bother wishing you good luck because I know you have so many other amazing things on your side that you have little need for luck. Let's do dinner and drinks soon.
